The Bridal Bean

Ever since stumbling upon the idea on Pinterest a while ago, I’ve been wanting to snap some photies of my beautifully growing Bean in my wedding dress. 

For visual & nostalgic wonderment now, yes, but also for display on her wedding day.  In, you know, 35 years.

To say she’s been eager to don “the dress” for the camera would be an understatement of epic proportion.  She lit up and leapt 3 feet when I whispered the news in her little ear, while Bug was napping, that today was the day.

We broke out the pearls…one of the little white flower pins I wore in my hair…and the dress.

and she shone!

I may or may not have leaked a little.

Princess one minute, dancing monkey the next.

Lord have mercy.  I’m so in love!
